The family of Dozer jackets consists of different styles. As their names suggests, each with their own specific user in mind.
Special for Dozer Light
Our design priority with Dozer Light is to limit weight without compromising the service life, waterproofness and functionality. A construction that provides the combination of a light shell for warm days but can also be used all year round with an appropriate combination of base and mid layers.
The Taslan polyamide shell fabric is the same type we have been using for more than 20 years.
The outer fabric is coated with our System Fabric membrane making it 100% waterproof (HSW<10.000mm) and breathable.
How did Dozer get lighter?
Firstly by using a 20% lighter shell fabric. Secondly by limiting the use of pleats and ”layer upon layer”.
Without compromising waterproofness and durability Dozer Light weighs significantly less than the other Dozer family members.

Dozer Light is our most versatile jacket. It is made to be worn all the year and for all kinds of fishing. It is especially useful for an active angler going a lot or under changeable weather conditions.
Dozer Light is a simple, classic design and is a perfect choice as a casual jacket or for other outdoor activities.

Dozer Light is the lightest and most breathable jacket in our Dozer-collection, yet just as waterproof as other jackets. There are fewer pockets and a bit less protective layering in non-critical areas - it is a compromise we made to minimise weight and packability.

Integrated Carry Strap System
Dozer Light features a built-in, stowable carry strap system designed for handsfree transport when the jacket is not breathing enough.The carry strap can be conveniently stored in a dedicated internal pocket when not in use.
The strap attaches securely to the jacket via the loop at the inside neck and two additional connection points located near the waist adjustment on each side.
Once connected, the strap’s length can be easily adjusted to accommodate different torso sizes. The carry straps are quick to mount and remove, making them ideal for transitional weather or active lifestyles.

Dozer Light is a strong and long lasting jacket and the choice of materials will make sure it will outlive most competitors.
Durability is the most sensible when it comes to limiting the climate impact.
As part of the overall design, we have prepared that repairs can be made easy and in many cases also locally.

Dozer Light - A Note from the Designer
When we set out to create Dozer Light, my goal was simple: build a jacket that performs like our toughest shells, but feels featherlight. Something you’ll forget you’re wearing—until the rain, wind, or waves hit,and you realize it’s doing all the work.
Dozer Light is fully waterproof and breathable, and yet incredibly light compared to how strong it is. The fabric is reinforced and tested to handle extreme conditions. It punches way above its weight, and that balance between performance and weight is something I’m genuinely proud of.
But what really makes Dozer Light stand out is its versatility.
We designed a three-stage ventilation system to help you stay comfortable no matter the conditions:
This feature alone has saved me more times than I can count. I can go from full protection to full ventilation in seconds. It gives me control over my microclimate, which is essential when weather and activity levels are constantly shifting.
Unlike most technical shells, Dozer Light is made to be worn all year. In summer, I rely on ventilation. In winter, it becomes a waterproof and windproof shell that works seamlessly with the right base layers like WizWool. That kind of flexibility means I never think twice about which jacket to bring.
What matters just as much to me is how it feels when worn. Dozer Light moves with you, not against you. It doesn’t restrict or weigh you down.

We like to say: it’s a bulldozer in disguise.
Durability was never up for debate. Every seam, zipper, and panel was chosen to last. But good gear also needs good hands.
This jacket is the product of close collaboration between our engineers and our seamstresses, people who’ve worked for years to master their craft. It’s their skill and care that makes Dozer Light what it is.
I also believe that if we want to make a real environmental difference, we have to make products that last. That’s what Dozer Light is about: smart design, long-term performance, and real-world adaptability.
